A highly regarded law school needed to create an online course for both past and present law students to develop their understanding of financial statements and deepen their knowledge of accounting, addressing the evolving industry standards and the transition to online learning.
Artha developed a program consisting five interactive eLearning modules, including Introduction to Financial Reporting, Financial Statements for Legal Professionals, The Income Statement, The Cash Flow Statement, and Analyzing and Interpreting Financial Statements for Auditors and Accountants.
The modules were built using Articulate Storyline 360 and featured simple animations to maintain learner interest, interactive infographics, relevant financial statement case studies, real-life exercises and multiple-choice questions throughout.
Despite challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, such as recording limitations, Artha successfully delivered a product suited for remote learning environments. The course received positive feedback from students, who appreciated the practical applications and interactive elements. The online format allows the law school to expand capacity for this high-demand course, meeting the needs of busy professionals and students.
