Turn Static Training Into Dynamic Practice Masterclass

Give learners the practice that changes behaviour, starting with the content you already have

About this masterclass

What this session covers

Content tells learners what to do; practice is what changes behaviour. Most L&D budgets still go to content delivery, the part of learning with the weakest link to on-the-job performance, because realistic practice with feedback used to be too expensive to scale. AI has removed that barrier. In this masterclass you take a piece of your own static training and turn it into practice, working across the full range of options from zero-budget to fully custom.

This masterclass is practical and hands-on rather than technical. Over 2 hours of live virtual instruction you will work through the outcomes below, using one slide deck, document, or module you know is not working as well as it should as the raw material.

Learning outcomes

You’ll leave able to

  • Find the unpractised, high-stakes skills in your current training where practice will make the biggest difference.
  • Break down an AI practice coach into persona, scenario, and feedback rubric, and see why these are design skills rather than technical ones.
  • Choose the right approach for your context and budget, from branching and custom GPTs to AI-queried documents and API-connected builds.
  • Convert a slide deck, PDF, or module of your own into a working practice activity during the session.
  • Put guardrails in place for accuracy, privacy, and psychological safety, and plan a practice-first pilot you can take to leadership.

Audience

Who it is for

People sitting on content that needs to do more:

  • Instructional designers and developers
  • L&D leaders and training managers
  • Compliance and regulatory training owners
  • Onboarding and product training teams
  • Trainers maintaining legacy course libraries
  • SMEs whose knowledge lives in slide decks

Less suitable for participants looking for authoring-tool instruction. This session focuses on design decisions rather than a specific build tool.
