Problem Statement
Ontario’s largest credit union wanted to ensure its hiring practices reflected the diversity of the communities it serves. The organization needed to equip hiring managers with techniques to remove biases and focus on finding the right person for the job, aligning with their core corporate values of diversity and inclusion.
Our Work
Artha facilitated an initial strategy session to develop a learning path for the program rollout. The resulting “Hiring for Diversity and Merit” module became part of the orientation program for managers and talent acquisition employees. The course design followed a hiring manager through various scenarios, challenging learners to recognize biases and demonstrating techniques like CV masking and noise audits. The module featured realistic images, advanced triggers, short videos, and human voiceovers for multiple characters. This module was showcased in Learning Solutions Demofest 2023.
